Public Notice (June 21, 2017)

The Town of Bishop’s Falls is asking residents to conserve water over the next couple of weeks.  This measure is necessary given recent events at the water treatment plant.  Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Waterline Flushing 2017

The Town of Bishop’s Falls will be flushing waterlines from Monday, June 12 to Friday, June 23, 2017 (weekend excluded).  Residents may experience water discolouration and/or low pressure during this time.  The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Today, September 10, 2015, Mayor Hobbs announced the beginning of a very exciting project for the Town of Bishop’s Falls.


Included in today’s release was the launching of the Town’s new logo and brand which represents where we are heading as a community.

Please be advised that Effective Immediately, Central Newfoundland Waste Management will no longer collect Black or Green garbage bags.  All garbage and recyclables MUST BE PLACED IN THE APPROPRIATE CLEAR OR BLUE BAGS


Composting is a cheap and easy way to turn almost half of your garbage into plant food!  Compost Bins are now available for purchase by contacting the Town Office 258-6581 for a Total Cost of $25.00
